Every business starts with a reason. For me, Granite Peak Armory began with a mindset shaped long before I ever opened an FFL.
I served as a machine gunner in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that instilled in me a deep respect for the Second Amendment and reinforced the importance of honor, courage, and commitment—especially when the stakes are high. Those values stayed with me long after my service ended and form the foundation Granite Peak Armory is built on.
I started Granite Peak Armory as a small, owner‑operated firearms business here in Idaho. Like many people who care deeply about firearms, I saw a growing need for knowledgeable dealers who who provide honest service and straight answers. Firearms ownership carries real responsibility, and I believe the businesses that support it should reflect that.
Granite Peak Armory was built from the ground up with that mindset. From day one, the focus has been on optimizing the customer experience and making the buying or transfer process as clear and respectful as possible. Whether someone is purchasing their first firearm, completing a transfer, or simply asking questions, my goal is to make the experience straightforward and professional.
Starting a firearms business isn’t easy. Between federal licensing, state business requirements, compliance obligations, and logistics, there are plenty of hurdles. But those challenges also reinforce why doing things correctly matters. Granite Peak Armory exists because I believe lawful commerce, individual responsibility, and small businesses still matter—and that there’s room for a dealer who puts ethics and trust first.
This business isn’t about volume or cutting corners. It’s about earning trust one customer at a time and building something that I’m proud to stand behind. As Granite Peak Armory grows, that core philosophy won’t change.
